Gasthaus Birke in Kirchzarten

Delicious food at good prices. During the lockdown to go food such as schnitzel with pommel and salad for 10 €.

Today we discovered the inn during a tour and took food with us on the way back (for known reasons). First of all great food, plentiful and at fair prices. When you picked it up, there were little extras that are fun, thought out with a sense of humor and that will be remembered. We think: keep it up. We would love to come back.

Subbak class! The best beer garden with all the trimmings - perfect for relaxed, beautiful celebrations in the Dreisamtal with young and old. We celebrated our wedding here and enjoyed it into the night :) Thank you!

Very nice inn with a great beer garden. Very friendly staff. I got something to eat late. Quiet room with puristic furnishings and a good bed. There was no breakfast but the combination of coffee for free and the bakery across the street was also good. The only disturbing thing was that the shower partition was broken.

We stopped there on a long walk from Kirchzarten. The service was very friendly, the atmosphere in the beer garden is wonderful and the food was very tasty. The corona regulations were also complied with. A little more expensive in terms of price, but still within reasonable limits.

The most beautiful location of a restaurant that we have visited for a long time! Huge sandpit for children included. The food was outstanding and the service was super nice! Nothing was missing :) come back anytime when we are in Freiburg!

What a find!! I stayed here for one night after delivering a car locally. This place is very clean, very welcoming and the food was great. I ended up having a great evening drinking beer and chatting with some of the locals. Thankyou Moritz your hospitality was spot on.

I am American, so I am a bit of a burger expert. My expectations are very high when I order a burger anywhere, especially in Germany. The birke burger was so juicy and delicious, I didn't want it to end. I never enjoyed a burger from Germany so much. Definitely the best. My nipples got so hard, they made holes in my shirt. I will keep going back to the Birke until I die. It was THAT good. Not to mention, the waiter was very cute

Good home-style inn with family prices and a quaint beer garden.

This review is for the restaurant. We had the sausage salad, sausage dish, and the kids had the pizza. Very good!
